ANNAPOLIS, Md. — In November of 2014, a specific group of people was able to enjoy a test ride for Harley-Davidson's Project Livewire in Annapolis, Maryland.
A fleet of prototypes was being hauled around the country for test rides and feedback as the company was still trying to fine-tune the project and determine if, and when, the electric motorcycles would be produced and sold.
FOX43's Evan Forrester was one of the lucky riders. He describes the experience as a "blast."
And he's not alone, the feedback at the time was clearly positive enough that Harley-Davidson began selling the electric bikes at the dealership in 2019. For the original report, watch the attached video above.
